Hi, my name is Franz Hoff. To start, let me say that this is not an attempt to throw out a sob story or to make people feel sorry for me. Emotionally and spiritually I am very at peace. Physically, I am in a challenging position. I am finding creative ways to provide for myself and most importantly my son.

I am VERY soon becoming single Dad. Mom takes care of our son half the time and I will take care of him half the time and I am grateful for the fact that our son has both parents around to love him and care for him; he is a lucky child. I experienced a large stroke on April 28th, 2008 (you can read more about my stroke experience and how I view that on my personal web site; www.FranzHoff.com if you like). I am still waiting to receive disability and am not able to go out and work a "regular" job. I find myself in a position where I have 30 to 45 days to find a place to live and move my belongings. I have been selling a lot of items to raise money, but without any income, the challenge is great.

This site is to ask for help; with a twist. In exchange for a donation, I will write a personal poem or short story for you. I have been writing for many years and specialize in poetry that is spiritually active; meaning that it is designed to provoke thoughts and feelings. The story's I have been working on are designed for children and are meant to assist them, on an unconscious level, to deal with difficult situations such as divorce, illness and other life changes.

I am NOT asking for handouts or for pity. I have faith, in myself and God/Universe/Love/Source (whatever you wish to label that of which we are all part of) that everything will be okay and I/we will all make it through these challenges better, happier, stronger and wiser.

• POEMS: The poem will be written on a subject YOU choose and custom done for you! Length will vary depending on the subject and any other details.

• STORIES: Stories will be written and based upon the circumstances you desire (i.e. divorce, illness or any other change that you want to share with your child in a way that will allow them to process the details without the "adult" details. The form will ask for some positive things about each party involved (parents, grandparents, siblings, etc., a few specific qualities. I will also need some basic details on the situation (I do not want the whole story, unless you really want to share it with someone not attached or involved...

•WEB & GRAPHIC DESIGN: I spent mayn years doing web and graphic design and would love some projects to work on. Drop me a note and I will let you know if it is within the scope of my abilities.
